Arnold High School Under Hard Lockdown as Police Search for Armed Student in Panama City Beach

A major law enforcement response is underway Tuesday afternoon at Arnold High School in Panama City Beach after officials reported that a student may be armed with a weapon on campus.

According to local authorities, multiple law enforcement agencies — including SWAT personnel — responded to the school as officers began searching for the student involved.

Officials confirmed that Arnold High School was placed on a hard lockdown while the investigation and search operation continued.

Nearby Breakfast Point Academy was also placed on a soft lockdown as a precautionary safety measure.

Bay District Schools stated that all students are currently safe and that parents have been notified about the situation.
